Contains records of both Stanley Woolen Co. and Calumet Woolen Co. including letter book of Calumet ca. 1887, and letter books (1917-1923), chiefly of Arthur Wheelock; daybook, journals and ledgers (1896-1905) and other financial records; billheads (1896-1961); purchase journal (1904-1905); sales records including accounts with commission merchants and agents Meinhard Greeff and Co., and William Iselin and Company, both of New York, N.Y.; and production records including information pertaining to cloth construction, design specifications, and draft books (1889-1936 and 1967) and finishing records (1923-1926 and 1967). Also includes payroll ledgers, 1907-1928, some of which include lists of renters and amounts paid. Also contains non-factored invoices, 1986, for Stanley Berroco, Records of Carded Woolen Manufacturers' Assoc., of which Arthur Wheelock was secretary, include correspondence, 1909-1912; circulars and pamphlets, 1909-1912; and articles and newspapers clippings concerning the wool tariff and association activities, 1908-1911.
